King’s Cross Seoul

Our Start

In 2017, about 30 of us were sent out from Jubilee Church with one simple desire: to build a Christ-centered, diverse community in Seoul. We started in our home just a handful of people, a lot of prayer, and a vision we could barely put into words.

From there, God kept surprising us. A gothic theater in a mall became our first worship space. When COVID shut that mall down, it felt like the ground had disappeared beneath us. But right in that moment of uncertainty, one unexpected phone call opened the door to a new home near Olympic Park in Jamsil. That space carried us through a season of growth, healing, and deepening community.

And then in December 2025, God led us again… this time to Yangjae. We renovated and moved into a shared space with a Korean local church, stepping into a partnership and planting new roots in a new neighborhood. It became another chapter marked by God’s provision, creativity, and grace.

From a living room, to a theater, to Jamsil, to Yangjae—
our entire story has been shaped by God’s faithfulness and our willingness to follow wherever He leads.
And through it all, one truth has remained:
Jesus builds His church and we simply get to be part of the story.

Our Story

In 2020, a defining moment in our story took place when our Elder board was formed. Their steady and faithful leadership helped shape us into a church with one clear heart and direction: to reach the lost with the love of Christ.

Our commitment to mission has been part of our story from the beginning. We have partnered with Nepal since 2017 and Mongolia since 2022 as we seek to bring the hope of Jesus to places far beyond our own neighborhood.

Everything we do flows from our core values of Christ, Community, City, and Church Planting. These values shape the way we welcome people, the way we serve our city, and the way we open our doors to those who have questions, wounds, doubts, or no experience with faith at all.

We are a diverse community with people from more than twenty nations gathering as one community. Different journeys, different cultures, different questions, but one shared desire to encounter the grace and truth of Jesus together.

As we move forward, our prayer is that King’s Cross would always be a place where the lost are found, the weary are welcomed, and anyone exploring faith can feel safe and loved.
We would love for you to be part of this story.
