New Location
Who is Youngdong Church, and what is KX’s relationship with them?
Yongdong Church is a Korean-speaking congregation that is celebrating their 50th anniversary. They have been worshiping in this building for over 30 years, faithfully serving this neighborhood across generations.
Their current congregation is made up mostly of older adults (65+), with about 15–20 members gathering each week. We are grateful for the opportunity to renovate the space for them and to co-share the building in a way that blesses both churches.
As we worship here, let’s continue to pray for their community for encouragement, strength, and renewed evangelism in this next season. We believe God has placed our two congregations together as two churches under one roof, and we hope to be a blessing as we share this home.
What time is the service?
Our Sunday service begins at 2:00 PM.
We encourage everyone to arrive around 1:45 PM to settle in, see the space, and prepare your heart for worship.
Is parking available at the new location?
Yes! We have on-site parking provided, and additional free street parking is available on Sundays.
Where do kids and teens meet in the new building?
We have dedicated spaces for:
Kids Ministry (2F)
Pre-teens (2F)
Youth (2F)
All rooms are clearly marked, and our welcome team will help guide families on Sundays.
Is there a space for parents with newborns?
Yes! We have a dedicated nursery room for parents with newborns.
The room includes:
A large window into the sanctuary
Live audio from the service
A comfortable, quiet area for feeding and soothing
A diaper-changing station
Space for simple nursery needs
This room allows parents to care for their babies while still staying connected to the worship service.
You are more than welcome to sit with your baby in the sanctuary with us as well.
Will our service format change in the new location?
Our worship service remains the same: Christ-centered, Spirit-dependent, and community-focused.
The only change is that we have more space and more opportunities for mid-week ministry.
Is there anything the congregation needs to keep in mind in this shared space?
Yes, thank you for helping us build a healthy partnership!
Treat all spaces with care.
Be mindful that another congregation also worships here in the morning.
Will there be opportunities to help with setup or cleanup?
Yes! We have church-wide setup and cleanup days, especially during this transition season.
